Family…

As WE continue forward on this journey it has opened my eyes to what “Family” means to me.

WE all have “Family”, the group of people that surround us as we grow, call themselves mom, dad, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins. I have noticed as I “mature” or get older the “Family” that surrounds me now are people that WE choose to be around, to share memories with, make memories with and create traditions with.

Sure some of this new “Family” will feel like close family and some will be acquaintances you see only once or twice a year, but you will always share a love and a passion for that thing that which brought you together in the first place.

There will be no blood connection but a tie to a passion, may it be motorcycles, the forest, a favorite fishing spot, or hanging out at the boat ramp on a busy summer day, these connections are to me almost more valid then a family lineage that not to many people understand or know.

I do hope that this may change for me, that my Family Tree” will become sorted and understood, I do see importance in it, I also appreciate all my “Families”.

Blood or passions shared, the bunnies in my life will always have a place in my heart!!
